Matthews Bus Alliance of Orlando, Florida, is the latest dealer to become certified in the collaborative effort between Thomas Built Buses and its dealers.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Matthews Bus Alliance Inc., a Thomas Built Buses dealership in Orlando, Florida, is the school bus manufacturer’s newest Platinum Support-certified dealer.
“Matthews Bus Alliance is committed to customer service and satisfaction. In fact, they have built their reputation on providing best-in-class service and repairs for their customers,” said Paul Start, market growth development manager for Thomas Built Buses. “It is with great pride that we welcome them as a Platinum Support dealer. This distinction will further enhance their customer experience and lower the total cost of ownership of the fleets they serve.”
Platinum Support, a collaborative effort among Thomas Built Buses, Daimler Trucks North America, and its dealer network, focuses on improving the customer experience. Platinum Support dealers and their staffs provide rapid diagnosis, responsive turnaround and quality, consistent communication, robust parts availability, and superb customer service, according to Thomas Built Buses.
“Everyone at Matthews Florida is proud to be recognized as a Thomas Built Buses Platinum Support level dealer,” said Glenn Matthews, president of Matthews Bus Alliance Inc. “Reaching this distinction was a team effort. Our already impressive facility in Orlando was greatly improved, and everyone on our team is even more customer-driven as a result of this program. Our Platinum Support certification will serve to enhance the customer experience.”
To become certified, dealers must undergo training and dealership improvements to increase service efficiencies.
