Rosco and Rostra settled a lawsuit that involved Rosco’s patented technology for its MOR-Vision Mirror/Monitor Combo Backup Camera System.
Rosco Inc. and Rostra Precision Controls Inc. have settled a patent infringement lawsuit that Rosco brought against Rostra, the companies announced on Monday.
The lawsuit involved Rosco’s patented technology that covers its MOR-Vision Mirror/Monitor Combo Backup Camera System for school buses. The product offers replaceable modular mirror and monitor components, glass reflectivity, and bright imaging with automatic monitor view changes, according to Rosco.
Rosco’s patents involved in the case were U.S. Patent No. 9,215,429 and U.S. Patent No. 9,319,639.
The two companies said that they have now settled the matter “amicably.” Rostra will discontinue offering or selling this mirror system for the school bus industry. In turn, Rosco has dismissed the case against Rostra.
