BREAKING: Navistar taps Trish Reed for VP, GM at IC Bus

Trish Reed will join IC Bus LLC as vice president and general manager. She will replace Carl Webb, who is assuming a new role as vice president and general manager, medium duty truck, Navistar. Reed brings more than 24 years of industry experience, including roles at Navistar as vice president of business operations at Navistar Financial Corp. and general manager of specialty vehicles for Uptime Parts.

Navistar expects $22M annual savings in engine production move

The IC Bus parent company will move mid-range engine production at its Huntsville, Ala., plant to Melrose Park, Ill. Chief Operating Officer Jack Allen says that Navistar has “too much excess engine manufacturing capacity in North America, and we must take action to reduce our costs and improve the business.”
