PENDLETON, Ind. — Remy International Inc., manufacturer of Delco Remy heavy- and light-duty starters and alternators, was recently awarded the standard alternator position for Navistar's IC Bus brand.
IC Bus selected the Delco Remy 28SI (200 amp) as its standard alternator. Other Delco Remy products — the 29MT and the 39MT — already hold the standard starter position.
"We're honored to hold both the standard alternator and starter positions for the IC Bus brand," said Daniel Boros, Remy's director of heavy duty truck, bus and export. "Navistar is an important partner, and being awarded these coveted spots is recognition that they value the product and service we're able to provide."
IC Bus customers will also have the benefit of a two-year/unlimited-mileage warranty for bus applications when a 28SI alternator is installed with a 29MT or 39MT starter.
