Vandals Smash School Bus Windows
Police in Price, Utah, say that two suspects drove around the city wielding a bat and breaking car mirrors as well as nearly 40 windows on three school buses.

Police said that two suspects wielding a bat broke nearly 40 windows on three school buses.

PRICE, Utah — Windows on three school buses were among the targets of a vandalism spree here last week, police said.
On Wednesday, officers from the Price City Police Department were dispatched to various neighborhoods after the department received multiple reports of criminal mischief that occurred the previous night.
According to police, the two suspects in the case primarily targeted the side mirrors of vehicles that were parked on streets. One of the suspects drove, while the other wielded a bat, breaking mirrors as they passed by, police said.
The Price City Police Department reported that there were more than 60 known victims of the vandalism, including a charter school and a school district.
The charter school, Pinnacle Canyon Academy, sustained 28 broken windows on two school buses. At the Carbon School District transportation facility, 10 windows were broken on one bus.
A detective sergeant from the Price City Police Department spearheaded the investigation, which involved patrol officers from the department, deputies from the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office, and a school resource officer.
A suspect vehicle was identified, and by 11 a.m., police had detained two suspects and recovered the bat that was allegedly used in the vandalism.
John David Stickney, 18, was arrested and booked into the county jail on a charge of second degree felony criminal mischief, based on the dollar value of damage estimates. Police said that the Carbon County attorney would review reports to determine exact formal charges.
The second suspect, a 17-year-old male, was booked into a youth detention facility for the same charge.
