Growth in 2022 was driven not just by new clients, but also existing clients shifting from the older Routefinder Pro to the newer browser-based Routefinder PLUS, which was released in 2020. Success in 2022 also came via the app for parents, Stopfinder, and having data hosted in the cloud.

The company reports that 23.4 million students are now routed using Routefinder PLUS, traversing 25.5 million miles every day.

Formfinder, which is embedded in Routefinder PLUS, saw a spike in usage. Formfinder allows users to digitize or create any form, to track student discipline issues. Another 25% are using it for payroll.

The company employs 174 people globally, with most in New York’s Capital Region. That’s up from 143 employees in 2021.

"While I am thrilled to hit this record 25th year of straight growth, in many ways, Transfinder is just hitting its stride," said Transfinder President and CEO Antonio Civitella. "Every single team within Transfinder contributed to this record revenue. With districts facing tighter budgets, driver shortages and other challenges, we have become a more crucial partner to more schools than ever before. We take this responsibility seriously and it shows in every aspect of our company."
