The new facility, located at 1009 Recreation Way in North Salt Lake, offers expanded services to customers in Wyoming and Utah. It includes six service bays, a wash bay, a parts sales and storage department, sales and administrative offices, and a training/conference room that is available for use by customers and their staff.

“This new location is a testament to the strength and success of Thomas Built Buses and Lewis Bus Group,” said Kelley Platt, president and CEO of Thomas Built Buses. “Lewis Bus Group’s new facility will be instrumental to our combined growth, as it will help us to better serve our customers in Wyoming and Utah with added services and offerings.”

Lewis Bus Group offers a full range of maintenance services to all local fleets, regardless of make or model. Lewis’ staff includes licensed service representatives for Cummins, Braun, Ricon, Zonar, AngelTrax, Fortress and more than a dozen other component manufacturers.

Lewis Bus Group began selling Thomas Built buses in 1988 as a division of Lewis Bros. Stages, a 100-year-old company. The bus group became an independent entity in 2003 and has since grown from a staff of five to 22. Sales volume has grown to more than $15 million in 2013.
