HIGH POINT, N.C. — Thomas Built Buses has appointed Tracy Mack-Askew as the company’s new vice president of engineering.
Mack-Askew’s responsibilities include design engineering, testing and compliance, along with research and development.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Thomas Built Buses has appointed Tracy Mack-Askew as the company’s new vice president of engineering.
Mack-Askew’s responsibilities include design engineering, testing and compliance, along with research and development.
“Tracy’s deep knowledge in both the engineering and management sides of the business makes her a tremendous asset to the Thomas Built team,” President and CEO Kelley Platt said. “Tracy is an innovator and a hard worker who will help to take Thomas Built Buses to even greater heights. We look forward to many great things coming out of her leadership.”
Mack-Askew has spent the past 15 years of her career at General Motors as part of its engineering team. Her most recent position there was global commodity manager.
Mack-Askew holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University, and a Master of Arts degree in management from Harvard University.
