ROBINSON, Texas — A 3-year-old student who was found unresponsive and not breathing while aboard his school bus on Friday has passed away, officials said.
Officers from Robinson Police Department responded to the incident at around 7:20 a.m. in the 600 block of East Moonlight Dr., KWTX reports. Robinson Independent School District (ISD) said in a Facebook post on Friday that the student suffered a medical emergency while being transported on the school bus. Chief Phillip Prasifka with Robinson Police Department said, according to the news source, that first responders performed CPR and the student was taken to a local hospital where he was resuscitated and then flown to another hospital in Temple. He passed away on Sunday evening.
