New safety training offered for bus drivers
Auto Safety House and DrivingMBA are partnering to offer a program for school bus and other fleets that focuses on defensive driving using simulators and adult learning techniques.
PHOENIX — Auto Safety House LLC (ASH) will offer safety training for school bus and other drivers through a partnership with DrivingMBA LLC.
DrivingMBA is an Arizona-based driver tutoring company that utilizes driving simulators and adult learning techniques to deliver effective defensive driving training.
"The FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) is already rolling out their new CSA2010 safety guidelines that will have a tremendous impact on all commercial carriers. The new CSA2010 includes criteria that require all carriers to maintain safe driving performance, document driver behavior and evaluation and demonstrate that they have preventive programs to improve driver safety," said Rudy Garcia, vice president of sales and marketing for ASH. "All fleet owners and operators with commercial CDL and non-CDL fleets will benefit from this safe driving program."
Rich Wojtczak, owner of DrivingMBA, added that his company’s use of technology to enhance the learning process is effective in making trainees aware of personal and vehicle limitations before they encounter them while on the road.
ASH is a fleet solutions provider that assists municipalities, school districts, contractors and others. It also distributes new and used buses, truck equipment, bus, truck and trailer parts and performs emergency vehicle modifications.
