LISLE, Ill. — Kathy Seegebrecht has been named vice president, marketing, for Navistar Inc.’s global bus division.
Seegebrecht previously served as vice president, marketing, for Navistar’s parts group. Prior to joining Navistar, Seegebrecht spent 15 years with BP in a variety of sales and marketing roles.
“We are proud to add Kathy to the team,” said John McKinney, president, Navistar Global Bus. “Kathy's experience in the parts group and external perspective will provide our group with new thinking and a fresh approach to the market.”
Seegebrecht replaces David Hillman, who recently accepted a new position in Navistar's global truck group managing the growing Navistar corporate relationship with Caterpillar. Hillman spent more than seven years with IC Bus and played a significant role in promoting the IC Bus brand. Officials said he also served as an influential voice and advocate for the school and commercial bus industry.
“We’re grateful for David’s tremendous contributions to our team and the industry as a whole, and we wish him nothing but the best in his new role,” McKinney said.
