STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. — The National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services (NASDPTS) is now part of the Facebook family.
Effective Wednesday, the NASDPTS Facebook page is up and ready for use.
NASDPTS joins Facebook
Executive Director Bob Riley was instrumental in building the page and will serve as its moderator. Officials for the state directors association say that social media sites like Facebook prove to be an effective way to communicate industry initiatives and ideas.

Officials for NASDPTS said the association feels it’s very important to stay in touch with the school transportation community, members, vendors, parents, students and other important stakeholders, and social media such as Facebook proves to be one of the best and quickest ways to communicate industry initiatives and ideas, as well as stay in touch.
