IC Bus names Hoglund dealer of the year
Four IC Bus dealerships earn Pursuit of Excellence awards: Hoglund Bus and Truck, Leonard Bus Sales, Leeds Transit and Maxim Truck & Trailer. Hoglund is also named the 2012 IC Bus North American Dealer of the Year.
LISLE, Ill. — IC Bus on Monday announced the winners of its annual Pursuit of Excellence dealership award.
Four IC Bus dealerships were recognized for their efforts to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
The U.S. winners were Hoglund Bus and Truck in Monticello, Minn., and Leonard Bus Sales Inc. in Deposit, N.Y. The Canadian dealerships recognized were Leeds Transit Inc. in Elgin, Ontario, and Maxim Truck & Trailer in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Among the four Pursuit of Excellence winners, Hoglund Bus and Truck was also named the 2012 IC Bus North American Dealer of the Year. This is the first time that Hoglund Bus and Truck has received the award, which honors the top-performing IC Bus dealership for the year.
“These awards are given to those dealers that have demonstrated an ability to grow our customer relationships this past year,” said John McKinney, president, IC Bus. “In addition to providing unmatched customer support, these dealers have displayed a commitment to ensuring the success of their customers and their local communities.”
The awards are based on dealer performance in several key areas in 2012, including growing market share and exceeding annual sales plans. In addition, dealers were required to meet a customer satisfaction index threshold as well as meet community service requirements in order to be eligible to receive recognition.
In addition to the Pursuit of Excellence Award, Leonard Bus Sales earned the Quota Buster and Elite Share awards for 2012. The Quota Buster award is given to those dealerships who exceed annual sales goals. The Elite Share award is given to dealers that have secured a majority of the market share within a specific sales territory. Officials said Leonard Bus Sales was the only dealer in the Eastern region to earn this award in 2012.
