HopSkipDrive has expanded its number of schools served by 35% and district partnerships by 28% since January.

About the New Hires

Alderman joins with over 20 years of corporate finance and investment banking experience, most recently serving as CFO at Kyte, a rental car delivery technology company and driver marketplace, and before that as CFO at the car-sharing marketplace Getaround.

“HopSkipDrive is tackling a fundamental challenge to ensure transportation is never a barrier to a child’s potential,” Alderman said. “I’m energized by this powerful mission and look forward to helping build a durable, long-term business that can expand its impact for students and communities for years to come.”

Sung Kim transitions from the role as CFO. "We are grateful for Sung’s leadership over the past two years, during which he was instrumental in doubling the business and building the momentum that positions us for the future," the company stated.

Meanwhile, Fisher brings a background in building high-performing sales organizations at high-growth technology companies, including leading the enterprise partnership teams at DoorDash. Reporting to Chief Revenue Officer Tyler Baldwin, his expertise will be key to deepening our partnerships with school districts across the country.

“Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to companies that solve meaningful problems,” Fisher said. “HopSkipDrive serves as an important partner to school districts, and I look forward to working closely with transportation teams to understand their unique challenges and deliver a solution that makes a real difference in the lives of students and families. It’s about ensuring every child has access to the opportunities they deserve.”

“Tom and Adam are exceptional, mission-driven leaders whose expertise will be instrumental as we enter our next stage of innovation and growth,” said Joanna McFarland, co-founder and CEO of HopSkipDrive. “Their proven leadership in scaling world-class financial and sales operations will accelerate our ability to solve complex transportation challenges for even more schools and families.”
