A veteran school bus driver in Sarasota, Fla., was arrested last week and charged with two counts of computer pornography and one count of distribution of obscene material to a minor. Daniel W. Pursley, 37, was arrested Wednesday, April 5, in the parking lot of a Sarasota restaurant. Sheriff’s officials say he was lured there by an undercover officer who posed as a 15-year-old boy during Internet chats with Pursley, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. Pursley has driven a school bus for the School District of Sarasota County for six years and, according to school officials, was an "exemplary employee." According to the arrest report, Pursley met "Dennis," the undercover detective, in an America Online chat room. He allegedly e-mailed the undercover officer a photo of himself naked and invited him to engage in sexual acts.
