Fleetio Launches Maintenance Shop Network Portal, Expands Geotab Integration

Fleetio is releasing two new tools to help fleet managers and maintenance providers track vehicles and provide effective maintenance regardless of where a driver may need it.

Fleetio recently announced the launch of a new vendor portal for shops participating in its Maintenance Shop Network. The company is also developing its first map add-in for the MyGeotab platform.

Looking at the New Portal

The new vendor portal enables users to easily manage their marketplace presence, gain real-time access to transaction history, optimize operations, deliver high-quality service, and grow their network within Fleetio’s customer base.

“Maintenance shops are the backbone of fleet operations, but managing payments, tracking performance and handling customer interactions can be overwhelming,” said Miles Rand, director, product management, marketplace at Fleetio. “Without the right tools, these challenges can slow operations and impact profitability. Fleetio’s new Vendor Portal eliminates the guesswork so shops can focus on growing their businesses, delivering quality service and ensuring fleet vehicles are well-maintained and road-ready.”

The portal provides a centralized platform for transaction management, customer insights, and administrative support,  simplifying the reconciliation of financial transactions.

Through the platform, shops can:

  • View transaction history, repair order status, and payout details.

  • Track key performance indicators related to maintenance activity, customer accounts, and service trends.

  • Easily reconcile month-end reports and clear earnings breakdowns.

  • Quickly find answers to common questions with dedicated self-service resources.

Geotab Integration

Fleetio’s Maintenance Shop Network connects fleets with independent and mobile service providers while automating the repair approval process and gives real-time visibility into outsourced maintenance activity. By integrating with MyGeotab, the Shop Network add-in helps fleet managers and dispatchers coordinate service, reduce downtime, and view preferred shop options based on a vehicle’s current location.

"This new feature strengthens the connection between telematics and maintenance management, allowing fleets to make informed decisions without leaving their Geotab dashboard," said Stefano Daneri, product marketing manager at Fleetio. "By integrating Fleetio’s Maintenance Shop Network, we’re enabling fleets to get back on the road quicker and eliminate the headaches associated with tracking and logging repairs."

In addition to locating shops based on proximity and filtering preferred shops, the MyGeotab integration provides easy access to shop information, including services offered and pricing.

The integration also allows drivers to complete repair order approvals automatically in Fleetio after they have been directed to a shop.
