Congressman to speak at NSTA event
U.S. Rep. Tim Scott will deliver a keynote speech to school bus contractors at the NSTA Annual Meeting and Convention in Baltimore. Scott has spoken in support of privatization efforts in his state, South Carolina.

BALTIMORE, Md. — U.S. Rep. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) will deliver a keynote speech to school bus contractors at the National School Transportation Association's (NSTA) annual gathering here next month.
Scott serves on the House Rules Committee and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
At NSTA's Capitol Hill visit in May, association members gave Scott a standing ovation after he spoke about supporting privatization efforts in South Carolina.
"He brings a fresh young voice to Congress and will bring a humorous and engaging speaking style to our convention," the association said in an announcement.
The NSTA Annual Meeting and Convention will be held July 16-20. Scott is slated to speak around 11 a.m. on July 18.
