BELDING, Mich. — Two adults here may be arrested after they allegedly entered a school bus and refused to leave at the instruction of the driver last week, The Daily News reports.
Police officers responded to a report of an adult on a school bus in the bus parking lot at Ellis Elementary School refusing to leave, according to the newspaper. Belding Police Chief Dale Nelson told The Daily News when officers arrived, they were told that two adults had boarded the bus and created a disturbance and the bus driver asked them repeatedly to leave, but they refused until school staff members intervened.
Belding Area Schools Superintendent Sara Shriver told the newspaper a series of situations occurred on the bus that required the driver to pull over and request assistance from district administrators and law enforcement. Shriver added that student behavior on the bus was involved.
