6 National Express Locations Earn ASE Blue Seal of Excellence
The school bus contractor’s locations in Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Washington receive Blue Seal certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.
LISLE, Ill. — Six National Express locations recently earned the Blue Seal of Excellence, given by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
The National Express maintenance teams in Hardin County, Tenn., Fairview, Pa., Spokane, Wash., Macomb, Ill., and Wyandotte, Mich., have all been granted Blue Seal renewal, according to a news release from the school bus contractor. The maintenance team at the company’s Elizabethtown, Pa., location earned the Blue Seal for the first time in October.
To become Blue Seal certified, at least 75% of technicians at a location must be certified by ASE, according to the ASE website. In addition, there must be a certified technician in each area of service offered at the location.
“It speaks to the dedication and skill of these maintenance teams that they collectively worked to achieve such a high standard,” said John Finn, senior vice president of maintenance at National Express. “When our buses are working at their best, it allows the entire business to provide safe and timely service to the areas that we serve.”
