Push for electric school buses in Massachusetts

Gov. Deval Patrick and his administration are investing in three programs to support alternative fuel vehicles and related infrastructure across Massachusetts, including the launch of an electric school bus pilot program. Special-needs driver fired after DUI

A citizen reportedly witnesses Rodolfo Luna discard empty vodka bottles from his bus and contacts officials for the school district where he worked, who track him down, and he undergoes a drug/alcohol test. He then takes a field sobriety test, which he fails, and he admits to sheriff’s deputies that he consumed vodka and cold medicine prior to starting his shift, which involved transporting special-needs students for a field trip.
