At the time, she didn’t fully realize the critical need for transportation solutions that complement traditional school buses. But now, she loves working with state and district leaders to implement EverDriven’s services as a flexible, efficient solution to their transportation challenges.

Her role allows her to collaborate across nearly every department at the company, helping to coordinate the many moving parts to get students to school every day. Whether that’s working with districts to ensure compliance or expanding transportation options for underserved student populations, each day is focused on helping students get to school safely, comfortably, and efficiently.

Bridgette Brinkmann, EverDriven’s chief people officer, called Judge’s leadership, expertise, and dedication instrumental in shaping EverDriven’s success and impact nationwide. With a background as a licensed attorney and experience at the Colorado General Assembly and a United States Attorney’s Office, she brings a unique and powerful perspective to the role.

Judge ensures EverDriven operates in full compliance while advocating for policy advancements that improve access for vulnerable populations. This work has led to significant progress in multiple states.

“Her dedication goes beyond compliance,” Brinkman said. “She is a true advocate for students and works tirelessly to remove transportation barriers that could prevent them from attending school. Above all, student safety is her priority. Her ability to blend legal expertise, policy advocacy, and operational strategy makes her an indispensable leader within EverDriven and a driving force for positive change in the student transportation industry.”

Flexibility is key, Judge says. “Every school district faces unique transportation challenges, and EverDriven provides tailored solutions that meet those needs. Without flexible transportation options, many students — especially those experiencing homelessness, students with special needs, or those in hard-to-reach areas — could face significant barriers to education. The ability to adapt and provide customized, student-first solutions ensures that no child is left without access to school due to transportation limitations.”

She wants others to remember the “why” in this industry. “Student transportation isn’t just about logistics — it’s about providing students with access to education and ensuring that families have reliable, safe options,” she said.

And she hopes to see student transportation continue evolving to directly improve education outcomes through a reliable ride. “Transportation is a fundamental part of educational equity,” she said. “If students can’t consistently get to school, their ability to learn and succeed is significantly impacted. By expanding access, districts can remove a key barrier to attendance and academic success.”

Judge also predicts technology playing a crucial role in shaping the future. “I believe the future of this industry lies in integrating technology with flexible, student-first solutions, ensuring that no child misses out on their education due to transportation challenges,” she said.
