Gatekeeper Systems Inc. recently announced new contracts with two school districts in the Midwest and Southeast.
Indiana District Adds Video
Under one contract, an unidentified district in Indiana is equipping its fleet of 100 buses with school bus video and mobile data collectors. This district will subscribe to Gatekeeper's video management software for video analysis and storage.
The school district is a new Gatekeeper customer with a contract valued at approximately $333,000 USD plus monthly recurring subscriptions.
Florida District Upgrades Entire Bus Fleet
Gatekeeper also executed a contract with Marion County Public Schools in Florida. The district is upgrading its 300 school buses with new mobile data collectors and video devices.
The school district will also subscribe to Gatekeeper's AI-assisted video management offering for video analytics and storage. The contract is valued at approximately $783,000 USD plus roughly $93,000 USD per year in recurring subscriptions.
Doug Dyment, Gatekeeper's president and CEO, said: "Marion County Public Schools has been a valued customer for several years using Gatekeeper video on two-thirds of their fleet. This full-fleet upgrade provides new video on the remaining one-third of the fleet, as well as new wireless mobile data collectors and video management software subscriptions for the entire fleet. It's an excellent testament to our platform-as-a-service business model, wherein our reoccurring customers can easily upgrade to our latest suite of video offerings, which now include video management software subscriptions for AI-assisted school bus video analytics on a real-time, full-fleet basis."
