WARWICK, N.Y. — Trans Tech has tapped Capital City Bus Sales to be its exclusive dealer for sales and service of its full line of Type A school buses in the state of Michigan.

“We are excited to welcome Capital City Bus Sales to our growing network of dealerships to provide sales and support of Trans Tech’s entire line of industry-leading Type A school buses in the state of Michigan,” said Trans Tech President John Phraner.  “Capital City Bus Sales’ dedication to its customers is unparalleled and perfectly aligned with our own philosophy of providing school buses that are built to last, fuel efficient and, most importantly, safe.”

Capital City Bus Sales will sell and support Trans Tech’s entire lineup of Type A school buses, Multifunction School Activity Buses and commercial buses from its main facility in Lansing, Michigan.  The dealer recently took delivery of its first Trans Tech Type A school bus, an SST, and will be receiving five more Trans Tech buses in the near future. Capital City Bus Sales expects to order approximately fifty Trans Tech buses per year.

“Our dealership agreement with Trans Tech enables our customers to choose from the broadest and most versatile lineup of Type A school buses in the industry,” said Bruce Nederveld, president and owner of Capital City Bus Sales. “Trans Tech’s best-in-class warranty will provide our customers with peace of mind knowing that their investment is well protected. We are thrilled to be partnering with Trans Tech to provide our customers with, what we believe, are the safest, most efficient and best looking Type A school buses on the road today.”

“The feedback we receive from Capital City Bus Sales will also help us continue to design and engineer a Type A school bus that exceeds market expectations,” Phraner added.  “As we do with all of our customers, we will work closely with Capital City Bus Sales to ensure that we are not just meeting their safety and versatility needs, but that we are surpassing them.”
