GRESHAM, Ore. — The Gresham-Barlow School District recently extended its 50-year partnership with First Student to deliver student transportation services.

The district has awarded the company a new two-year contract to manage and operate nearly 100 school bus routes.

“We believe that great transportation is always a result of close, trusted partnerships,” said First Student Area General Manager Tucker Shea. “We look forward to continuing to work closely with the Gresham-Barlow School District to deliver tailored transportation solutions as we strive to create the best start and finish to the school day for each student.”

First Student transports approximately 8,000 Gresham-Barlow School District students each school day.
