LISLE, Ill. — Navistar International Corp. has earned a top honor for its parts distribution center in Edmonton, Alberta.

The Edmonton parts facility was named the first-place honoree of the Top Performing Warehouse Award by Carlisle & Co. Navistar is the parent company of school bus manufacturer IC Bus.

The metrics-driven award from Carlisle & Co. recognizes parts distribution centers in the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors. The honor reportedly rates top performance in providing high quality parts availability to customers in an efficient and productive manner.

Several Navistar parts distribution centers were recognized for their performance relative to industry peers. In addition to Edmonton’s first place finish, Navistar’s parts distribution center in Queretaro, Mexico, placed third, and the company’s Las Vegas parts facility came in fourth.

“Receiving three of the top five awards, including number one, from Carlisle & Co. once more is an honor for our company, as it validates our commitment to be the leader in aftermarket parts distribution,” said Josef Kory, senior vice president of parts for Navistar.
