BYRON CENTER, Mich. — Pro-Vision Systems has introduced a new flush mounting bracket designed to allow bus cameras to be mounted recessed into the bulkhead of a school bus or a transit bus.
The recessed design was created to help reduce the possibility of a student or passenger hitting their head on an exposed camera. The design can also make it more difficult for riders to tamper with or vandalize the cameras.
Additionally, Pro-Vision’s cameras capture a 175-degree field of view in a design that aims to make it less likely for an incident to be missed by a camera blind spot.
The camera and mount will debut at the upcoming Community Transportation Association of America Expo Trade Show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from June 12 to 13.
