Bob Ramsdell, the chief safety officer for the school bus company, will serve on the TSA's Surface Transportation Security Advisory Committee (STSAC) as a National School Transportation Association (NSTA) appointee.
The TSA recently announced the establishment of the STSAC, according to a news release from National Express.
The STSAC will report to TSA administrator David Pekoske and will provide recommendations on surface transportation security matters, including the development, refinement, and implementation of policies, programs, initiatives, rulemaking, and security directives.
“It will be an honor and a privilege to serve alongside such esteemed colleagues,” Ramsdell said. “I look forward to this great opportunity to represent NSTA.”
