Oklahoma district awarded $60K grant for CNG compressor

Parker Hannifin debuts CNG fuel dispenser

The supplier introduced a complete industrial and fleet fuel dispensing solution for high-flow, high-cycle CNG applications to the North American market at the 2014 Alternative Clean Transportation Expo. Central to the solution is the new Parker Industrial Bulk CNG Dispenser, the only entirely integrated fuel dispenser on the market, according to the supplier.

Collins Bus Corp. launches new CNG Type A school bus

The school bus manufacturer has partnered with Westport on the bus, which features the Westport WiNG Power System, a dedicated natural gas fuel system. The bus also features a large passenger-side cab view window, an exterior storage compartment, and it provides an estimated 250- to 300-mile range. Collins Bus is accepting orders for the bus, and delivery to customers will begin in the fall, according to the company.

Utah bill would provide $20M for alt-fuel school buses

House Bill 41 would allow the state Board of Education to award a grant to a school district or charter school to replace a school bus manufactured before 2002 with a bus that uses compressed natural gas, propane or clean diesel fuel. The grant could also be used to install an alternative-fuel fueling station and to retrofit an operation’s maintenance facility to service alternative-fuel school buses.
