RouteTracer integrates Zonar's K12 High-Definition GPS unit with Transfinder's Busfinder AVL software to display bus locations and path-points on a district's transportation routing map. Transfinder will market and deliver the system, and Zonar will provide installation and service.

NSTA Convention to Cover Current Industry Issues

Apollo Video to outfit nearly 700 buses with surveillance system

The RoadRunner video surveillance system will be installed on the school buses, operated by First Student for Buffalo (N.Y.) Public Schools. The system integrates GPS capabilities, allowing for synchronization with the video. Each bus will also be equipped with cameras and audio recording abilities.

Barry Stock has been a fixture in the pupil transportation community since he launched Stock School Transport in 1988. He recently served as president of NSTA and was named SBF’s Contractor of the Year in ’97. He describes his career as “exhilarating and rewarding.”
