Portable child restraint system folds into carrying case

HSM’s system enables schools and transportation companies to provide a five-point restraint system that meets National Highway Traffic Safety Administration requirements for children, according to the company. When not in use, the seat converts to a carrying case with an adjustable strap that creates a handle or shoulder strap for easy transport and storage.

Georgia drivers participate in safety competition with propane buses

More than 60 drivers from around the state competed in the roadeo hosted by Georgia’s Pupil Transportation Safety Competition Foundation, where they navigated obstacle courses and challenges and completed a written examination. Blue Bird Propane-Powered Vision school buses were provided by Hall County Schools and Appling County Schools.

First Student to serve Ohio district under 10-year contract

Dubai school transport conference draws global crowd

About 17 nations are represented at Dubai’s first school transportation conference. Speakers and delegates make recommendations in such areas as school transportation safety and security, driver training and road layout around schools.
