HIGH POINT, N.C. — Thomas Built Buses has donated a Type-A Minotour multi-functional bus to Boys & Girls Clubs of America. A Montana-based club won the bus through a drawing held on May 18, during the organization's national conference in Orlando, Fla.
The bus seats up to 16 passengers and will be used to transport children to the club's activities.
Following the donation, Glenn Permuy, the senior vice president of service to the clubs said, "Thomas Built has always been very supportive of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and we are grateful for their generosity."
This marks the third time Thomas Built has given a bus to Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In 2005, the company donated a Saf-T-Liner C2 bus to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Coastal Carolina.
