HIGH POINT, N.C. — Truck Center Companies is now the official Thomas Built Buses dealer for the state of Iowa.
Located in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Truck Center Companies has expanded beyond Nebraska to now sell and service Thomas Built Buses, according to a news release from Daimler Trucks North America, the parent company of the school bus manufacturer. Truck Center Companies has more than 20 years of experience as a Thomas Built Buses and 44 years as a Freightliner dealer and was recently awarded the American Truck Dealers (ATD) Truck Dealer of the Year for their sales and service in the commercial transportation industry.
“Truck Center Companies has been the leading transportation service provider in Nebraska for many years, and we cannot wait to extend into the state of Iowa,” said Trey Mytty, CEO of Truck Center Companies. “We already offer 10 full-service locations across Iowa and Nebraska and keep nearly $12 million of parts in stock for need-it-now repairs. We are proud to share our knowledgeable staff and technical expertise with new customers.”
Caley Edgerly, president and CEO for Thomas Built Buses, added that Truck Center Companies has “an excellent reputation for customer support and service” and that it “will greatly benefit” the manufacturer’s Iowa customers.
