FELICITY, Ohio — A 15-year-old student was removed from her school after she allegedly threatened to stab and shoot everyone on her school bus, WCPO reports.
David Gibson, the superintendent of Felicity-Franklin Local School District, told the news source that three students reported the girl’s threats to the school’s principal last week. No charges have been filed, but Felicity Police Chief Timothy Zurmehly told WCPO that he is investigating complaints that the girl yelled, “I’m gonna stab everybody on Bus 18,” and “I’m gonna shoot everybody on Bus 18.”
Gibson also told the news source that it’s important to make sure students “understand that their words matter” and that the school takes safety issues very seriously.
Zurmehly added that the girl said she has been bullied, but there is no evidence of that. She may be charged with aggravated menacing, a first degree misdemeanor, and may also be expelled from the school, according to WCPO.
