CEDAR PARK, Texas — Authorities here are looking for the driver of an SUV that apparently hit a special-needs school bus and kept driving.
The hit-and-run incident happened on Sept. 24 shortly after 8 a.m., according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
School bus video footage apparently shows the driver side-swiping the left of the bus before speeding off, Spectrum News reports. A student was being loaded into the bus at the time of the crash, according to the news source.
The Leander Independent School District told KVUE there were two students and two adults on the bus when the crash happened. There were no injuries reported, according to the news source.
Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said in a tweet that they will be investigating the footage, and the driver of the SUV will be caught.
