La. school bus drivers prep for hot weather
BENTON, La. — While transporting special-needs students during the summer months, drivers for Bossier Public Schools carry ice chests filled with water bottles and moist towels on their buses. The school system had been providing water, but it began providing the ice and coolers after a boy with cerebral palsy suffered heat stroke while riding his bus last year.
