CHP names top school bus driver in So. California
SALINAS, Calif. — Roslyn DaSilva, a school bus driver for students with special needs for the Monterey County (Calif.) Office of Education since January 1982, was honored in April by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) as the school bus driver of the year for the Southern California region. 5-year-old girl left on school bus
CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — A 5-year-old special-education student with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactive disorder) was left alone on a Parkway School District school bus after the driver failed to drop her off or perform a row-by-row check of the bus after parking. Parkway spokesman Paul Tandy said the bus driver had been suspended without pay and would be recommended for firing by the School Board. To read the full story, click here.
