A new lift replacement solution from Stertil-Koni targets old single-stage hydraulic lifts that have outlived their useful life.
The new replacement solution is a frame version of Stertil-Koni’s Diamond Lift model, which is specifically engineered for concrete foundations. Company officials said that the ALI-certified solution uses existing concrete vaults, has a shallow install depth and features telescopic pistons. It also uses biodegradable hydraulic fluid as a standard feature.
Also, the new frame version of the Diamond Lift is available in either a two- or three-piston configuration, with a total lifting capacity of 64,000 lbs. or 96,000 lbs., respectively.
“In many cases, installing the frame version of the Diamond Lift into an existing pit will deliver substantial time and cost benefits to the customer as compared to purchasing a completely new system,” said Matthias Lennemann, Stertil-Koni USA’s sales manager for in-ground lifts. “What’s more, installation is often easier because it requires a pit that is less deep than traditional products.”
The new lift’s modular frame design also enables it to accommodate a variety of pit sizes, according to the company. It is designed with different travel ranges to work with various vehicle sizes and wheelbases.
