New school bus dealership launched
Blue Bird has added a new dealership, Bird Bus Sales of New York, to its North American listing of dealers.
FORT VALLEY, Ga. — Blue Bird has added a new dealership, Bird Bus Sales of New York, to its North American listing of dealers.
The dealership is helmed by Rick Reichenbach, who has more than 32 years of sales experience in the school bus industry.
“Rick’s commitment and dedication to his customers, and his experience in bus, adds additional quality Blue Bird representation to the New York area,” said Roger Howsmon, chief marketing officer and senior vice president of sales for Blue Bird.
The dealership will offer the full Blue Bird product line.
“Customers don’t want to be sold — they want to buy,” Reichenbach said. “Blue Bird is a product that loyal customers want to buy.”
After working as a salesman with Navistar for several years, Reichenbach joined U.S. Bus (now Trans Tech Bus) as national sales manager. Later, he started a Type A bus dealership and then purchased a bus repair business.
