A Beep LLC announced today the launch of a new program, specifically tailored for schools and student transportation fleets. The Managed Services Program is meant to make the managing of an organization's communications needs as easy and as affordable as possible. The main objective is to make the operational costs of push-to-talk services a fixed budget point. The program includes everything at a single cost. The device, service, and maintenance are all embedded in a unified package.

School-Radio works in a format all bus drivers are familiar with: a traditional two-way radio.

The new program allows School-Radio to reach virtually everywhere service is needed. It offers coverage using cellular infrastructure for connectivity and cloud-based geo redundant servers to manage traffic and system features. It works through a familiar form factor that almost every school administrator and bus operator is familiar with: a traditional two-way radio.

A Beep LLC services schools across the Chicagoland area where the company is based, as well as in school districts across the country. The company's General Manager, Michael Ippolito, says the two largest pain points his company has identified in working with school bus fleets are consistent budgeting and coverage issues. He believes this new program addresses both of those problems.

"The benefit to this technology is not only the increased coverage footprint, but also the elimination of costly infrastructure and FCC licensing," Ippolito added.

The program launched with both a mobile and portable device. It boasts a large feature set, making it extremely flexible for customization to the specific fleet's needs. Some of the available features include group and private calling, SOS--or emergency calling, recording, and optional GPS. Computer dispatch software, and IOS and Android applications are also available.
