Leonard Bus Sales honored for 50 years of service
The Saratoga County (N.Y.) Board of Supervisors honored the company for the milestone, its leadership in the school bus industry and its economic contributions to the county.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The Saratoga County Board of Supervisors recently honored Leonard Bus Sales Inc. for its 50 years in business, leadership in the school bus industry, and overall economic contributions to Saratoga County by presenting an official proclamation.
Board of Supervisors Chairman Matthew Veitch presented the proclamation to representatives of Leonard Bus Sales at the company’s customer support facility in Saratoga Springs on Dec. 21.
“The entire board of supervisors congratulates Leonard Bus Sales for reaching this tremendous milestone and wishes the company continued success in the future,” Veitch said. “We’re thrilled to have them here in the community and truly appreciate their continued commitment and ongoing contributions to Saratoga County.”
The proclamation recognized and congratulated Leonard Bus Sales on 50 years of “providing a great service and continuing to be a leader in their industry,” and expressed appreciation to the company “for providing good jobs for its residents and for its ongoing contribution to the Saratoga County economy.”
Accepting the proclamation on behalf of Leonard Bus Sales was company Vice President Jon Leonard.
“It’s a tremendous honor for our entire team and a fantastic way for us to close out our year-long celebration of 50 years as a family-owned business,” Leonard said. “We take our commitments to our local communities and all our school transportation partners very seriously, and we will continue to do so for the next 50 years. We are truly humbled and gratified by the recognition.”
