BATON ROUGE, La. — A bill drafted by Rep. Mike Walsworth is making its way through the Louisiana State Legislature. As of May 30, House Bill 157 was before a Senate committee for review.
The most recent version calls upon the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education to generate regulations that comply with the Administrative Procedure Act requiring that every bus purchased by school districts before Jan. 1, 1996, be equipped with a crossing arm.
