Students to pay $1 a day for school bus

Cuts in service could strand students
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Cumberland County School Board recently eliminated eight buses that serve a local alternative school, saying it cost too much to run the buses. Parents complain that students have no other way to get to the school, which is the only facility where students can attend after being suspended for disciplinary problems.
