Michigan community to honor school bus mirror inventor
BEDFORD, Mich. — Two former students and other community members will honor late educator and school bus driver Reid Stout with a monument to recognize his invention of crossview mirrors (also known as crossover mirrors) for school buses. Stout mounted an arm and convex mirror to the front of his bus after realizing that he could not see a student standing in front of the bus and that he could have run over her. Strong winds carry bus from bridge into creek bed
ABILENE, Ga. — A new school bus en route to California from Georgia last week reportedly launched from the foot of a bridge into a creek bed. Teen charged for pointing toy gun at bus
BUFFALO, N.Y. — A 14-year-old boy who pointed a toy gun at a school bus last week is scheduled to appear in a family court on a menacing charge.
