HOLLYWOOD BEACH, Fla. — Blue Bird Corp. recognized dozens of its dealers at its recent annual dealer meeting here for their exceptional sales and service performance.

Canyon State Bus Sales took the top honor as the 2019 Blue Bird Dealer of the Year. This is the second time the Phoenix-based dealership has been recognized by the OEM, after first winning the award in 2016, Blue Bird announced in a news release. Canyon State Bus Sales made significant investments in a new facility that same year and has continued to grow and better support and service new and existing Arizona customers, according to Blue Bird.

“Canyon State Bus Sales is an outstanding Blue Bird dealer with terrific market share for Type A on up through Type C and D, along with an impressive service presence within their territory,” said Mark Terry, the chief commercial officer of Blue Bird Corp. “Their investment in their business through facilities, people, and inventories have enabled them to provide excellent customer service. This strategy has clearly been successful and is the sign of a winning dealer.”

Terry added that Canyon State Bus Sales employs several best practices that are critical to Blue Bird, their Arizona customers, and its employees.

“We are honored to be named this year’s Blue Bird Dealer of the Year for a second time,” said Michael McGrath, president of Canyon State Bus Sales. “Our team has worked diligently this year to provide the best for our customers and will continue to move forward in 2020 to offer exceptional customer support throughout Arizona.”
