Automotive International, a supplier of corrosion protection coatings, announced improvements to its ValuGard Hybrid Technology Undercoating.
“The hybrid product has been popular since its launch,” said Tim Brune, technical director for Automotive International. “It strikes a good balance between the fast drying solvent formulations and the slower drying, more temperature sensitive, 100% water-based products. That said, we are constantly striving to improve all of our products.”
“Using new, different resins we’ve created a coating with a darker finish and less porosity so there is virtually no chance of moisture migration,” Brune added. “This formula gives us better corrosion resistance, a better gravelometer rating and improved sprayability.”
