Two directors from school bus operations in Illinois have completed the Special Needs Transportation (SNT) Training program.
The latest to earn the SNT endorsement from the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) are:
Sharon Pierluissi of Lakeside Transportation/Cook-Illinois Corp. and Barbara Rizzo of Peotone Community School District 207-U are the latest to complete NAPT's Special Needs Transportation Training program.

• Sharon Pierluissi, regional director at Lakeside Transportation/Cook-Illinois Corp. in Waukegan, Ill.
• Barbara Rizzo, director of transportation at Peotone (Ill.) Community School District 207-U
The SNT program has a core curriculum of six special-needs courses in a variety of settings, including a school bus competition and a trade show of school transportation products and services. The core curriculum is supplemented by two courses of elective instruction from the NAPT Professional Development Series.
