Iowa governor signs illegal bus passing bill

Illinois Central School Bus subsidiary Missouri Central School Bus is serving the Voluntary Interdistrict Choice Corp. in St. Louis under a three-year contract. The Missouri State Patrol recently inspects the fleet and officials say it exceeds the state’s excellence standard, with no buses out of service.

Bus, truck drivers face charges in fatal N.J. crash

The bus driver is cited for failing to stop or yield. The driver of the dump truck is cited for failing to properly secure and cover the truck's load. Prosecutors will decide whether to pursue criminal charges against the drivers after an investigation and a toxicology test are completed.

When the tornado hit Henryville on March 2, the city sustained severe damage, but West Clark Community Schools’ bus passengers were uninjured thanks to the actions of the district’s transportation staff and administration team. As Director of Transportation Jim Scroggin tells SBF, the employees monitored the weather, and the bus drivers and students sought shelter in buildings.
