Seon donates $25K to anti-bullying campaigns

The supplier is giving $5,000 of the proceeds from school bus camera system sales to “The Bully Project,” a social action campaign that aims to stop bullying. The remaining $20,000 will be distributed to school districts across North America that apply and are chosen for the Seon Anti-bullying Education Grant.

Transportation agreement extended for students in UAE

The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Education has extended for three years its agreement with Emirates Transport for transportation of students of the ministry’s government schools. The deal provides 2,113 school buses and more than 2,000 drivers to government schools.

Teen helps bus driver who collapses at the wheel

Jesse Hermanson and an aide are on the bus when driver Lee Plante loses consciousness while making a U-turn, sending the bus through a brick wall and into a backyard. The teen says he saw Plante halfway out the bus doors, and his thought was to “call 911 and release the emergency switch because the doors kept pinching him.”
