There were plenty of interesting sites to be seen over the past week in Myrtle Beach, S.C., where NAPT and NASDPTS held their annual conferences. You probably saw our Daily Report newsletters, which covered the speakers, workshops, trade show and other activities. Here are some more photos that I took in the conferences as well as on the streets (and a pier) of Myrtle Beach.

David Kelly, acting administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, addressed state directors at the NASDPTS conference.
Longtime industry advocate Cal LeMon expressed his support for lap-shoulder belts on school buses at the NASDPTS conference.
NAPT attendees filled a banquet hall for an awards breakfast and business meeting.
Jim Blubaugh of the Environmental Protection Agency briefed NAPT attendees on the National Clean Diesel Program.
There is indeed a beach inMyrtle Beach. This is the view from the end of a pier.
Apparently, the city has a problem with unruly mobs.
Everyone makes mistakes (even magazine editors like us), but you’d think that someone would have caught this one.
