Yesterday, maintenance product provider Noregon announced the promotion of its former chief revenue officer to the new role of chief executive officer.
Bill A. Hathaway has served on Noregon’s leadership team since 2018 and previously oversaw the organization’s sales, marketing, and product management efforts.
He joined the company in 2016, developing and leading the content management group and the restructuring of Noregon’s sales strategies and oversaw the national accounts sales team. He played an integral role in the launch of many Noregon products and services, including NextStep Repair, Technician as a Service (TaaS), and ShopPulse.
On his appointment, Hathaway said: “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve Noregon and its leadership team. I have so much respect for this organization and the role it plays in keeping vehicles and equipment operating safely. I look forward to building upon Noregon’s incredible foundation and leading the business into the future.”
Hathaway has served on a variety of boards and committees in the industry. He is a graduate of the LEAD ATA program and a recipient of the 2022 SC Biz New’s award for 2022 Icons and Phenoms. He holds a degree in business administration and management from Furman University.
“It is an honor to announce Bill Hathaway as our new CEO,” said Bill G. Hathaway, Noregon’s executive chairman. “No one better understands Noregon’s vision, long-term goals, and what is required to achieve them. Bill has been an integral part of Noregon’s growth, and I look forward to even greater success under his leadership.”
Hearst acquired a majority stake in Noregon in 2021. The company develops software, hardware, and technology for the maintenance, service, and upkeep of commercial vehicles and heavy-duty equipment.
